This position supports the General Manager in overseeing daily hotel operations while ensuring exceptional guest service, strong team leadership, and overall operational excellence. This is an excellent opportunity and stepping-stone to become a General Manager within our company.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all daily hotel operations including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and sales, and F&B. Drive revenue growth through effective revenue management, sales initiatives, and market positioning. Ensure compliance with Marriott International brand standards, policies, and procedures. Lead, mentor, and develop department managers and team members to build a strong, service-focused culture. Monitor guest satisfaction scores and online reputation to ensure exceptional guest experiences. Reaching Member Enrollment Goals Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial performance including profit and loss accountability. Maintain strong communication with ownership and leadership teams regarding performance and strategic goals. Foster positive relationships within the local community and tourism partners.
Qualifications:
Previous Front Office Manager or Assistant General Manager experience with Marriott brands preferred, but not required . Strong Leadership, Time Management, and Organization Skills are a must. Strong understanding of hotel inventory/financials, and operational controls. Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams. Experience with Marriott systems and brand platforms preferred, but not required. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
