Position Summary and Purpose:

The Hourly Manager directs and oversees activities of the restaurant in accordance with standardized policies, in order to provide efficient, friendly services, and profitable operations.

Cooks, Cashiers Essential Responsibilities:

Ensures that guests are served in a courteous and timely manner Ensures positive guest service while taking appropriate actions to exceed guest expectations Provides an exceptional guest experience by leading shifts and maintaining Smashburger standards through lunch and dinner services Maintains high food quality and attractive food appearance, made according to Smashburger specifications Follow Smashburger cash handling procedures Maintain an awareness of all menu items Ensures that proper sanitation and cleanliness is in order to fulfill health requirements, Smashburger standards and to enhance the dining atmosphere for our guests Follow all policies and procedures as outlined by Smashburger Complete any other tasks assigned by the management team

Education and Training:

High School Diploma Leadership experience Cash handling experience Food Handler's Card and ServSafe certification preferred Food service experience a plus

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

While performing the duties of this job, the Hourly Manager is required to use hands repetitively, stand for prolonged periods, walk, grasp firmly/strongly and simply/lightly with hands, and use fine finger dexterity. This employee is frequently required to bend over, twist, reach above shoulder level, crouch or stoop, kneel, repetitively use feet, and use head and nick in a twisting or static motion and to look up and/or down, push and/or pull, and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Occasionally, the Hourly Manager is required to sit, climb, balance, and/or move over 50 pounds. This employee is required to work in various temperatures, in a noisy environment, near moving mechanical parts, with dangerous equipment or sharp tools, and around fumes, odors, dust, or toxic chemicals.
