This role is vital in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring top-quality food preparation, maintaining high standards of food safety, and fostering a positive, efficient work environment. The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for managing staff, controlling inventory, and ensuring the smooth running of all kitchen functions in a fast-paced, high volume environment. Duties Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Manage inventory control processes, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize costs. Supervise kitchen staff by providing training, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance skills and performance. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations through regular inspections and adherence to sanitation protocols. Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet customer demand during peak hours. Maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, hospitality excellence, and exceptional customer service. Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within quick service or fast food restaurants. Strong background in restaurant or hospitality management with supervising experience. Familiarity with
TOAST POS
systems for transaction processing and reporting. Knowledge of inventory control methods, food handling procedures, and food safety regulations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and develop staff effectively. Experience in managing budgets, controlling costs, and implementing food production standards. Prior high volume experience is highly desirable; catering experience is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to oversee multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
