Third Shift Pastry Lead

Ninth Street Bakery, a local independent bakery with a 40 year history in Durham, is looking for an overnight lead for its Pastry Team. The position is 35-40 hrs per week. The position includes overnight shifts . Pastry bakers are responsible for preparing recipes, baking off, decorating, and boxing and sorting pastries. Leads must have experience directing a team. This is a great position for someone wishing to expand their baking knowledge and upping their management skills. Applicants must be able to follow a recipe. Kitchen or baking experience is preferred. The baker must be physically strong and able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Starting wage is $20.00 per hour plus health benefits.
