Job Description

Overview We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team in a dynamic fine dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and food service management, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. As the Sous Chef, you will play a vital role in supporting the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety. Duties
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and food preparation.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure adherence to culinary standards.
  • Manage daily kitchen operations, including inventory control and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during meal periods.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and storage areas.
  • Assist in managing food costs while maintaining quality standards.
  • Participate in special events or catering services as required. Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a fine dining restaurant.
  • Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
  • Experience in food service management and supervising kitchen staff.
  • Familiarity with inventory control processes and cost management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of dietary restrictions and menu planning is a plus.
  • A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
