Coastal Franchising General Manager A Coastal Franchising (CF) General Manager (GM) leads and develops a restaurant team whose singular focus is to provide the greatest possible experience for every guest on every visit. As a CF GM, you will be accountable for the financial performance and overall operation of your restaurant. Your success as a CF GM will be achieved largely through the performance of your restaurant team. As a leader, you will accomplish this by: Sourcing, mentoring, training, and developing your restaurant team to achieve performance goals and deliver the greatest possible experience for every guest. Providing clear and honest feedback to your team, actively coaching and supporting them to achieve their personal and professional goals. Providing leadership, professional development, and operational oversight for your team. Maintaining regular communication with your District Manager (DM) regarding the performance of your restaurant and team. Regularly communicating with your team to understand and evaluate their performance, while providing regular feedback and coaching to help them achieve their goals. Ensuring the safety and security of your team and guests, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, food handling guidelines, and sanitation standards.
  • Working with your Coastal Learning and Development (L&D) team to effectively train all new team members.
  • Demonstrating through your behavior a clear understanding of all Coastal Franchising policies and practices as outlined in the Coastal Franchising Employee Handbook and enforcing these policies and practices with your team.
Financial results will be achieved by: Driving sales through effective execution of and compliance with all CF and Dunkin' restaurant standards, policies, and marketing initiatives. Working with your DM to create and implement systems and processes to achieve your goals, which include: Increasing sales Effective labor cost controls and staffing Controlling food costs Proper cash handling Managing expenses Improving profitability Maintaining accurate inventory levels Proper preventive maintenance and sanitation Monitoring progress toward established performance goals, providing feedback, and coaching to your teams. Reviewing all guest feedback and evaluating and improving your operating standards to provide the greatest experience for every guest, every time. Engage with the local community, building relationships and developing opportunities to grow sales. Performing required and indispensable assessments to measure CF and Dunkin' operational standards that include compliance, safety, and maintenance.

Demonstrate superior active listening, written, and verbal communication skills, allowing you to communicate effectively with all levels of the Coastal Franchising organization.
Analytical and Critical Thinking Skills:
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions and process recommendations.
Problem-Solving :
Ability to work with your DM, colleagues, and team to identify and resolve in-restaurant operational, personnel, and physical plant issues.
Resource Management :
Develop and utilize personal discipline, demonstrating the ability to plan, schedule, and optimize the use of organizational resources to achieve the greatest value for the organization.
Adaptability :
Exercising the discipline to adjust strategies and operations in response to the inevitable and often unpredictable changing market conditions, new technologies, or other external factors.
Functional Skills :
Demonstrate your ability to perform all tasks, activities, and responsibilities to Coastal and Dunkin' Brand standards. Education and Experience Coastal Franchising General Managers will have a minimum of 2 years of restaurant General Manager experience.
