Gaston Brewing is seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dining establishment. The ideal candidate is a true team leader who leads by example. You will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, managing and inspiring staff, and optimizing profits while maintaining a positive, high-energy work culture.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Guest Satisfaction Oversee Daily Operations:
Manage daily front-of-house and back-of-house flows to ensure smooth, efficient service.
Guest Relations:
Ensure top-tier customer satisfaction by engaging with guests, responding to feedback, and resolving complaints promptly and professionally.
Quality Control:
Monitor food and beverage preparation, presentation, and timing to ensure Gaston Brewing's standards are consistently met. Leadership & Team Development Lead by
Example:
Demonstrate accountability, strong work ethic, and reliability shift-after-shift to set the standard for the entire team.
Staff Management:
Train new employees, provide ongoing coaching, and offer constructive feedback to support the growth of current staff.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the management teams to ensure seamless, cross-departmental operations.
Financials & Administration Cost Control:
Manage inventory, minimize waste, and control food and beverage costs to optimize profitability.
Financial Accuracy:
Handle cash transactions, manage registers, and maintain accurate daily financial records.
Compliance:
Implement and strictly maintain food safety, sanitation, and alcohol laws/regulations.
Qualifications & ExperienceRequirement:
Minimum of 5 years of restaurant management experience is required.
Proven Leadership:
Strong leadership skills with a track record of motivating, managing, and retaining a dynamic team effectively.
Industry Knowledge:
Deep understanding of food service industry operations, including both kitchen (BOH) and floor (FOH) management.
Food Safety:
Comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations and local health department standards.
Soft Skills:
Customer service-oriented with exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Bonus:
