As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining our high standards of customer service and operational excellence.
Job Description:
As an Assistant Manager at Moe's Southwest Grill, you will assist the General Manager in running the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. Your role is crucial in ensuring a smooth, efficient, and enjoyable experience for our guests and team members. You'll be responsible for leading by example, managing staff, and upholding our brand's standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and ensuring all areas are clean and organized.
Team Management:
Supervise and motivate team members, provide training, conduct performance evaluations, and foster a positive work environment.
Customer Service:
Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high service standards, addressing customer concerns promptly, and implementing feedback to improve service.
Financial Management:
Assist in managing restaurant financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and handling cash deposits and financial reports.
Health & Safety Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, and maintain a safe work environment for both staff and guests.
Marketing & Promotion:
Support local marketing initiatives and promotions to drive sales and attract new customers.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Previous experience in a restaurant management or supervisory role preferred. Experience in fast-casual dining is a plus.
Leadership Skills:
Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of managing and motivating a team.
Customer Focus:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to handle challenging situations and solve problems efficiently and effectively.
Flexibility:
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or related field is a plus.
