Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to oversee operations in our fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for the culinary arts, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety and quality, and maintaining efficient operations within the restaurant. Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of quality and presentation. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha or Micros for cash handling and sales tracking. Train, develop, and mentor staff to enhance their skills in food service management and customer interaction. Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new team members to build a strong workforce. Implement effective shift management strategies to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas while adhering to food safety regulations. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff members. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism to ensure guest satisfaction. Experience Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management. Familiarity with inventory control processes and budgeting practices. Experience with staff training & development, as well as supervising team members effectively. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is essential. Previous experience in fine dining or casual dining environments is preferred. Culinary experience along with barista or coffee experience is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations gracefully.
