We are a busy, driven couple balancing demanding corporate careers and launching our own private firms on the side. We are also active in competitive endurance sports (ultra-running, OCR, cycling). This role combines physical household execution (meal prep, organization, laundry) with administrative property support (vendor management, logistics). What We're Looking For:
We need someone who is highly organized, proactive, and capable of executing tasks independently with minimal direction. A professional approach is key. We are looking for someone who will seamlessly integrate into our home while maintaining clear boundaries and a respectful, professional relationship. The ideal candidate will possess a project manager mindset, be able to plan and execute tasks with precision while maintaining a calm and friendly demeanor. You should be capable of taking ownership of your responsibilities, verifying expectations when necessary, and always moving forward with initiative. We value someone who can balance consistency and strong communication, managing daily, weekly, and monthly tasks without reminders. No social media posting of any aspect of the job
Key Responsibilities:
Household Management & Organization:
Reset and tidy rooms Maintain and refresh entryways, garage, mudroom Ensure home is prepped for cleaning services (1-2x/month) Load/unload dishwasher, wash dishes in sink, wipe kitchen surfaces and bathroom countertops, vacuum high traffic areas, take out trash and recycling (including breaking down boxes) Supervise and coordinate with vendors for repairs and maintenance Fill cats food/water dishes; maintain the litter robot Conduct seasonal swaps (clothing, bedding, etc) Prepare and coordinate donation drop offs and pick ups Prepare for family events, holidays and guest stays Maintain household organization systems
Inventory Management & Errands:
Create and manage running household supply lists Track and restock pantry, fridge, toiletries, and household supplies Coordinate and manage household orders from Amazon, Costco, Target, etc. Handle package pickup, mail sorting, and deliveries Run occasional errands (returns, gift shopping, etc.) Meal Planning & Preparation Batch-cook and prep healthy, clean meals/snacks at least 2-3x weekly according to specific nutritional preferences. Build digital grocery carts for app-based automated ordering/delivery. Clean kitchen post-prep and manage kitchen tidiness
Laundry & Linen Care:
Wash, dry, fold, and organize family laundry (clothing, bedding, towels) Refresh towels, wash bedding and remake beds once/week Restock essential linens as needed Keep laundry areas tidy, organized and well-stocked with supplies
Deep Cleaning & Special Projects:
Maintain and refresh specific zones (entryways, garage, mudroom) Clean humidifiers, washing machines, and air purifiers monthly Proactively organize special projects: pantry, laundry, others as needed Vehicle Management Schedule and oversee maintenance, oil changes, and inspections Track registration, insurance, and service schedules
Vendor & Property Oversight:
Schedule and supervise service providers (cleaners, contractors, landscapers) Simple pool maintenance (Deploying the pool robot) Research and coordinate repairs, maintenance, and quotes Manage routine upkeep Oversee outdoor spaces and seasonal maintenance needs (water flowers/plants seasonally) Serve as primary contact for vendors or guests
Administrative & Personal Assistant Support:
Research and coordinate repairs, maintenance and service providers Assist with travel logistics and appointment scheduling. How to
