Monday-Friday (with flexibility as needed for startup operations) About Us We are a fast‑growing manufacturing startup focused on building a high‑performance operation from the ground up. As we scale production, expand our customer base, and strengthen our processes, we're looking for a hands‑on, strategic General Manager who can lead people, build systems, and drive operational excellence. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a startup environment , enjoys solving problems, and wants to make a measurable impact on a company's growth trajectory. About the Role The General Manager will oversee all day‑to‑day operations of the facility, including production, staffing, safety, quality, logistics, and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for building a strong culture, developing processes, and ensuring the company meets its operational and financial goals. This is a leadership role with significant autonomy and influence. Key Responsibilities Lead daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production goals, quality standards, and delivery timelines are consistently met Build, mentor, and manage a high‑performing team across production, warehouse, and administrative functions Develop and implement operational processes, SOPs, and performance metrics Oversee scheduling, capacity planning, and resource allocation Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements Manage budgets, cost controls, and operational KPIs Partner with ownership on strategic planning, forecasting, and scaling initiatives Drive continuous improvement using lean manufacturing principles Build strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders Support hiring, onboarding, and workforce development as the company grows Identify operational risks and implement proactive solutions Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial operations Proven ability to manage teams in a fast‑paced environment Strong understanding of production workflows, quality systems, and safety standards Experience with lean manufacturing, process improvement, or scaling operations Excellent communication, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills Comfortable working in a startup environment where priorities evolve quickly Ability to build structure, systems, and culture from the ground up Preferred Experience (Not Required) Experience launching or scaling a new facility or production line ERP or manufacturing software implementation Budgeting, forecasting, and P&L exposure Physical Requirements Ability to walk the production floor regularly Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs occasionally Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment (noise, temperature variations) Why Join Us Opportunity to shape the future of a growing manufacturing startup High visibility and direct impact on company success Competitive salary + performance incentives Strong team culture focused on innovation, accountability, and growth
