We are seeking an energetic, experienced, and detail-oriented Event Manager / Restaurant Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of diverse events while managing daily (Thurs, Fri, Sat) restaurant operations. In this role, you will be the driving force behind delivering outstanding customer service, maximizing revenue opportunities through upselling and marketing initiatives, and ensuring smooth event execution from start to finish. Your leadership will inspire your team to excel in a fast-paced environment, fostering a welcoming atmosphere that delights guests and clients alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to blend hospitality expertise with event management prowess, making every occasion extraordinary. Responsibilities Lead the planning and execution of a wide range of events, including banquets, weddings, corporate functions, and community gatherings, and concerts, ensuring all client expectations are met or exceeded Coordinate with clients, vendors, catering teams, and staff to develop comprehensive event plans, timelines, and budgets Oversee daily restaurant operations to maintain high standards of guest service, cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations Implement effective marketing strategies to promote upcoming events and restaurant offerings, increasing visibility and attracting new clientele Manage contracts with clients, vendors, and suppliers to secure favorable terms while safeguarding the venue's interests Upsell additional services such as catering packages, beverage options, or special amenities to enhance guest experience and increase revenue Supervise staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to ensure a motivated team capable of delivering exceptional service Monitor budgets diligently, controlling costs while maintaining quality standards for both events and restaurant operations Foster strong relationships with guests by providing personalized service that encourages repeat business and positive reviews Handle guest inquiries promptly and professionally, resolving issues efficiently to uphold the venue's reputation Skills Proven experience in event planning and management within hospitality and restaurant settings Strong negotiation skills to secure contracts and favorable vendor agreements Excellent marketing abilities to promote events effectively across various channels Skilled in upselling techniques to maximize revenue opportunities during events and dining experiences Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship building Effective time management to juggle multiple events and daily operations seamlessly Organizational skills essential for coordinating logistics, managing budgets, and overseeing staff schedules Knowledge of banquet operations, catering services, hotel or restaurant experience preferred Familiarity with contracts management and event marketing strategies Ability to lead teams confidently while fostering a collaborative work environment Experience in fundraising or community event coordination is a plus Join us in creating unforgettable moments where hospitality meets celebration!
