Simonson Kitchen Manager

Simonson Station Stores is now hiring a Kitchen Manager for our Simonson Kitchen at our location in Williston, ND. You will lead and operate our Simonson Kitchen that consists of Made to Order meals to include Sandwiches, Wraps and Salads. You will also maintain our Grab and Go Cold offerings along with Grab and Go Hot Snacks and Bakery items. Our goal is to grow our business by offering fresh, quality options to our customers in a fast, friendly and efficient manner. Ideal candidates will have a background in the food service industry and an excellent understanding of operating Kitchen with Convection Ovens along with Proofers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has previous Kitchen Management experience, or someone looking to advance their career in the restaurant industry and making a transition to the Convenience Store business. Simonson Kitchen Manager hours are typically Monday - Friday 6:00 am- 2:00 pm. Flexibility will be required based on the needs of the business.

What You'll Be Doing:

Monitor all food merchandisers according to demand and expiration time requirements Prepare fresh Made to Order meals for our customers Implement food preparation methods and portion sizes to ensure food quality, appearance and consistency Oversee ordering and inventory food and supplies Train and develop staff by continuously improving their skills and knowledge Uphold company food safety, food handling and sanitation requirements to ensure the health and safety of our customers and employees Comply with health and fire regulations regarding food preparation and serving to ensure we meet standards Lead by example, providing exceptional customer service and inspiring the team to do the same Handle customer concerns, complaints with a positive attitude and professionalism Preparing schedules and managing time-off requests, while ensuring the Simonson Kitchen is always staffed appropriately

What We Offer:

Competitive pay based on experience: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
