Duties Assist the restaurant manager in overseeing daily operations, including shift management and staff scheduling Lead and motivate a diverse team of servers, cooks, and support staff to deliver top-tier customer service Ensure food preparation, cooking, and presentation meet quality standards while adhering to food safety regulations Manage inventory control, including stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Supervise food production processes, ensuring consistency and efficiency in food handling and kitchen management Conduct staff training sessions on food safety, customer service excellence, and operational procedures Support budgeting efforts by monitoring labor costs, controlling expenses, and optimizing resource allocation Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels Assist with hiring interviews, onboarding new team members, and ongoing staff development initiatives Requirements Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles within quick service or fast food environments Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen operations Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales transactions and cash handling Demonstrated supervisory experience with a focus on team management and training & development Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to manage inventory control efficiently while maintaining quality standards Experience in budgeting, cost control, and operational planning within the food industry Hospitality management background with casual dining or fine dining experience preferred Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment Exceptional communication skills with proficiency in interviewing potential candidates Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays Join us as an Assistant Manager where your leadership will inspire excellence!
