About the Role We are seeking a hands-on, high-energy District Kitchen Manager to support, train, and develop kitchen teams across 3-4 restaurant locations. This role is responsible for driving operational consistency, strengthening kitchen leadership, and ensuring high standards of food quality, execution, and accountability across all restaurants. This is a working leadership position for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-volume kitchens and leads by example on the line. The ideal candidate will spend time in each location coaching Kitchen Managers and line cooks, identifying opportunities for improvement, and helping teams execute at a high level every day. This position is ideal for a strong Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef, or experienced culinary leader who is ready to take the next step into multi-unit leadership and training. What You'll Do Work side-by-side with kitchen teams during busy service periods Coach and develop kitchen managers and line cooks across multiple locations to improve execution, consistency, and team performance Teach and reinforce strong knife skills, cooking techniques, and line systems Assist with ordering, inventory rotation, prep systems, and sanitation standards Troubleshoot operational issues and support kitchens during high-volume rushes Maintain food quality, safety, and operational standards across all restaurants Conduct kitchen audits and ensure consistent execution of standards across all locations Partner with Kitchen Managers to drive performance, accountability, and operational excellence Monitor food cost, waste, and inventory practices while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability What You Bring 5+ years of progressive kitchen leadership experience in a high-volume restaurant environment Previous experience as a Kitchen Manager, Executive Sous Chef, Executive Chef, or similar leadership role preferred Valid driver's license Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate and coach teams Ability to stay calm and organized under pressure Strong understanding of prep systems, line execution, food safety, and kitchen operations Passion for training, teaching, and developing others Ability to travel regularly between 3-4 restaurant locations throughout the week Strong work ethic with a hands-on mentality Flexible schedule with availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require Physical Requirements Standing for long periods of time Working on the line during high-volume rushes Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Frequent movement between stations and locations Ability to work in fast-paced kitchen environments for extended shifts We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
