Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to lead our restaurant team to success! In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. Your leadership will inspire staff, optimize restaurant performance, and create a welcoming environment that keeps guests coming back. Duties Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including shift management and staff scheduling to ensure smooth service flow Supervise and motivate team members, providing training and development to enhance their skills in food preparation, customer service, and food safety standards Oversee food handling, preparation, and presentation to uphold quality standards aligned with health regulations and company policies Manage inventory control, including stock ordering, storage, and waste reduction to maximize profitability Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Ensure compliance with food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and hospitality standards across all departments Support hiring processes through interviewing candidates and onboarding new team members Collaborate with kitchen management to coordinate food production, catering events, and banquet services when applicable Experience Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen management practices Hands-on experience with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction handling Strong background in inventory control, budgeting, and food safety compliance Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, team management, and conflict resolution Familiarity with hospitality management principles gained through roles in hotel or catering settings is advantageous Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in the food industry is highly preferred Join us to lead a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding culinary experiences!
