• Full-time Job Overview The Windmill Restaurants are seeking dedicated and experienced Shift Managers to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced restaurant environment.

The ideal candidates will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food safety and quality, and maintaining a positive atmosphere for both employees and guests. Positions are available in the following locations (Belmar, Ocean Grove, Red Bank, Long Branch, Brick-opening soon). Duties Supervise daily operations to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to company policies. Train, develop, and mentor staff to enhance their skills in food preparation, customer service, and operational procedures. Manage inventory control processes, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate reporting of daily sales using POS systems. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain satisfaction. Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and leadership practices. Qualifications Proven experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting. Prior supervisory or management experience is essential; experience in training & development is highly valued. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and inventory management systems. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate a team effectively.
