  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our team at Overlook Tavern at Knol West.
In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and manage a talented team of food service professionals. Your leadership will drive operational excellence, uphold food safety standards, and foster a welcoming environment that keeps guests coming back. Duties Supervise all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management Lead staff training and development initiatives to ensure high standards of customer service and food quality Manage inventory control, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste Oversee POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the kitchen and dining areas Coordinate shift schedules, manage labor costs, and optimize restaurant productivity through effective shift management Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster positive guest experiences Conduct interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of new team members to build a strong workforce Monitor food production processes to ensure consistency in quality and presentation Oversee catering, banquet services, or bar operations as applicable to enhance revenue streams Experience Proven management experience within the food service industry, ideally in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient cash handling and sales tracking Demonstrated supervisory experience with a focus on staff training & development and team leadership Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and health regulations Experience managing inventory control, budgeting, and cost analysis within a restaurant setting Previous hospitality management experience in fine dining or hotel environments is a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and deliver excellent customer service Join us to lead a vibrant team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences!
