Job Description

Job Summary:
To lead others by demonstrating the Company Mission, Vision, Values, and Service Priorities, duties to include: maintaining a high level of customer service while safely and efficiently unloading and processing Kitchen deliveries; maintaining a neat, clean, and visually appealing department; and being willing to train, coach, and counsel dept. Associates, to manage the daily operations of the department in an efficient and safe manner, within Company policy. Job Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: Comply with ShopRite Purpose, Vision, Mission, Values, and Service Priorities. Provide excellent customer service and, ability to uphold all company standards. Work as an excellent team member to maintain a high level of company standards and ethics. Adhere to all Federal, State, and Local regulations as they pertain to the kitchen operation. Maintain communication within the Department and the Company. Comply with all store rules, company policies, safety requirements, security standards, and all local and federal health and civil code regulations. Maintain Department sanitation and QA standards by cleaning and sanitizing all work surfaces, utensils, and equipment. Keep floors clear of debris and spills. Be alert to temperatures and operating conditions of refrigerated storage areas and cases; promptly communicate any problems or failure to key person in charge. Utilize CGO to maintain and order merchandise to keep products in stock, including using the hand-held terminal. Essential Functions of the job include, but are not limited to the following: Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English Language and perform basic math skills. Ability to stand/walk for the duration of the shift Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and regularly lift 25 lbs., and occasionally lift 50 lbs. Ability to work in varying temperatures Ability to work with a wide variety of fresh, dried, and/or processed products, spices, and powdered substances without negative allergic consequences. Ability to unload trucks Meet all work schedules and comply with all time and attendance policies Other duties as assigned by the
