About the Role Are you a pro at balancing making a perfect sandwich while keeping a team motivated? This Souper team is looking for a hands-on Manager to lead our front-line operations. We aren't looking for a "clipboard manager"—we need a leader who loves the rush of a busy lunch hour and takes pride in serving the best soups and sandwiches in town. As a Manager, you will be the heartbeat of the restaurant, ensuring every guest leaves happy and every catering order goes out the door on time and looking sharp. What You'll Be Doing •Outstanding customer service, ensure every guest experience is 10 star, be a role model for staff with high standards.
The Rush:
You'll lead by example on the line, ensuring speed, accuracy, and food safety during our peak hours.
Catering Mastery:
Oversee the preparation and execution of catering orders. You'll be the point person for local businesses and events.
Inventory & Ordering:
Manage stock levels for fresh ingredients and supplies. You'll handle ordering to ensure we never run out of the crowd favorites. Keeping food cost in line and creating professional vendor relations.
Team Leadership:
Create and manage weekly employee schedules, balancing labor costs with the needs of the business. Always be on the look out for great people to join our team. Interview, train & hire.
Quality Control:
Ensure our soups are hot, our bread is fresh, and our prep stations are spotless.
What We're Looking For Experience:
At least [1-2] years of management or shift lead experience in a fast-casual or restaurant environment. The "Catering Eye": A high level of organization to manage large orders alongside a busy dining room.
Tech Savvy:
Ability to use scheduling software and inventory management systems.
Reliability:
You're someone the team can count on to open the doors or close up shop with integrity.
