Job Description

Now hiring Front of House Managers at The ChopHouse in Gibbsboro, NJ! Our Front of House Restaurant Managers are instrumental in our day-to-day restaurant operations. In this role, you'll support the General Manager in the planning, organizing, and training necessary to achieve restaurant objectives. As a Restaurant Manager with PJWRG, you'll oversee sales, labor and food costs, employee hiring and retention, guest service, food quality, and sanitation.

The ChopHouse offers a modern, airy and comfortable ambiance by blending natural surface elements with sophistication and style. Our menu features perfectly aged and prime steaks, fresh seafood options, a raw bar and an extensive drink selection. Front of House Manager Responsibilities Partner with the General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and achievement of business objectives. Champion a culture of hospitality by leading, coaching, and developing the front-of-house team to deliver personalized, attentive service that exceeds guest expectations. Maintain a visible presence in the dining room, proactively engaging with guests and team members to ensure service, food quality, and ambiance consistently reflect the standards of an upscale dining experience. Drive performance in sales, labor, guest satisfaction, and operational metrics through effective leadership, execution, and accountability. Assist in managing financial performance by monitoring labor costs, controlling expenses, safeguarding company assets, and adhering to cash handling procedures. Serve as a key member of the restaurant leadership team, partnering with the General Manager on recruiting, hiring, onboarding, performance management, and employee retention initiatives. Lead by example and provide direction to all front-of-house team members while fostering a positive, professional, and high-performing work environment. Assist in the preparation and execution of schedules, reports, inventories, and other operational administrative responsibilities in a timely and organized manner. Ensure consistent execution of company standards, policies, and procedures while holding team members accountable for performance and conduct expectations. Support the planning and execution of marketing initiatives, community engagement efforts, and promotional programs that drive guest traffic and sales growth. Oversee private dining events, group reservations, and special occasions, ensuring seamless coordination, exceptional execution, and memorable guest experiences. Collaborate with event hosts, guests, and restaurant leadership to manage event logistics, staffing, timelines, and service expectations. Partner with culinary and operations teams to ensure alignment between front- and back-of-house operations and a consistent guest experience. Develop staffing plans and schedules that support business demands while achieving labor targets and maintaining service standards. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to health, safety, sanitation, and labor practices. Front of House Manager Qualifications At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant concept; upscale or fine dining experience strongly preferred. Previous experience coordinating private dining events, banquets, special events, or group functions is preferred. ServSafe Certification required. Strong knowledge of food, beverage, wine, and hospitality service standards. Ability to lead and make decisions using restaurant management guidelines. Ability to analyze P&L statements and work within a budget. A friendly, approachable attitude and ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, guests, and event clients. Have a "can-do" attitude, initiative, and the willingness to learn and execute quickly. Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. Possess basic computer skills and the ability to work with scheduling, time and attendance, event management, and POS systems.

Pay:
$60,000- $70,000 annually
