Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to lead our restaurant team to success! In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain a vibrant, efficient environment. Duties Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures Supervise and train staff on food preparation, customer service, and safety protocols Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in compliance with health regulations Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems and manage cash handling procedures Support shift management by coordinating staff schedules and ensuring smooth service flow during busy hours Monitor food production and kitchen operations to maintain quality standards in casual dining or quick service environments Lead staff training sessions on culinary techniques, customer service excellence, and operational procedures Assist with budgeting, cost control, and overall food management strategies to optimize profitability Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, performance feedback, and development initiatives Skills Proven experience in restaurant management with supervising responsibilities in fast food or casual dining settings Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen management practices Expertise in POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally Skilled in inventory control, food safety practices, and food handling regulations Leadership qualities with experience in staff training, interviewing, and team development Ability to manage shift operations efficiently while maintaining high standards of hospitality and cleanliness Familiarity with budgeting processes, food production management, and cost control measures Experience working in diverse environments such as hotel restaurants or catering services is a plus Strong communication skills coupled with the ability to motivate teams toward shared goals Join us as an Assistant Manager — Restaurant where your leadership fuels unforgettable dining experiences!
