In this role, you'll be the driving force behind creating delicious baked goods, managing staff, and ensuring our bakery runs smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong management skills, a love for baking, and a knack for customer service. Duties Oversee daily bakery operations, including production schedules, inventory control, and quality assurance. Manage and motivate bakery staff through effective training, supervision, and performance evaluations. Interview and hire new staff members / Terminate staff members Coordinate purchasing and inventory management to ensure the availability of ingredients and supplies while minimizing waste. Implement merchandising strategies to showcase baked goods attractively and boost sales. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure excellent service standards are maintained. Maintain accurate bookkeeping, payroll processing, and cash handling procedures in compliance with company policies. Manager is in charge of staff in the front and the back of house (bakers / barista and cashiers ) Oversee the coffee program in the bakery
  • coffee inventory / coffee training / quality control. Requirements MUST have ServSafe Certification
  • Manager level Proven management experience in retail or food service environments, preferably with bakery or pastry background
  • minimum of 2 years Proven experience in 3rd generation coffee program
  • minimum of 2 years Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, and recruiting to build a motivated team.
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for communicating with diverse customers and staff. Knowledge of POS systems, retail math, pricing strategies, and sales management techniques. Experience with inventory management, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and cash handling. Excellent communication skills combined with organizational skills to manage shift schedules and store operations effectively. Demonstrated leadership in supervising teams, managing budgets, and developing staff through training & development initiatives.
