Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in food and beverage management, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, controlling inventory, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests across various dining formats including quick service, casual dining, and fine dining establishments. Responsibilities Lead and supervise restaurant staff to ensure efficient and professional food service delivery. Oversee daily restaurant operations, including shift management, customer relations, and staff scheduling. Manage food preparation processes, ensuring quality standards and adherence to food safety regulations. Handle POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy. Control inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs to meet budget objectives. Train new staff members on food handling, customer service protocols, POS operation, and safety procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas in compliance with health regulations. Monitor food production and presentation to uphold restaurant standards across all service types including catering, banquets, or bar services if applicable. Assist in hiring, interviewing, and developing team members to foster a motivated work environment. Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally. Implement management policies that promote operational excellence and team development. Qualifications Proven management experience within the food industry, particularly in quick service & fast food or casual dining environments. Strong knowledge of food preparation, culinary techniques, and kitchen management. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience required. Experience supervising staff with skills in training & development; ability to lead teams effectively. Knowledge of food safety standards, health regulations, and inventory control procedures. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing operations across multiple shifts. Background in hospitality management or hotel experience is a plus; culinary or fine dining experience preferred. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service.
