Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to join our Mediterranean restaurant team. As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the CDC & Executive Chef to lead the kitchen, ensure consistency, and deliver an exceptional dining experience. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for Mediterranean flavors.
What You'll Do:
Assist the CDC & Executive Chef with daily kitchen operations and menu execution Lead and train kitchen staff to ensure consistency and high standards Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation across all stations Maintain quality control, portioning, and adherence to recipes Help create prep lists, manage inventory, and support ordering Uphold cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards Step in to cover any station when needed during service
What We're Looking For:
Minimum of 3 years of culinary experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role Strong knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine and ingredients Ability to manage, train, and motivate a team Strong communication and organizational skills Calm under pressure and adaptable during busy service Food safety certification preferred
