Shift Manager - Zaxby's (First New Jersey Location!)

Zaxby's is bringing its indescribably good chicken, famous sauces, and Southern hospitality to New Jersey for the very first time! We're building a strong leadership team to launch our very first location, and we're looking for motivated, hands-on Shift Managers to help lead the way. Position Overview:
As a Shift Manager, you are responsible for leading the restaurant during assigned shifts, managing team members, and ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience. You will support the General Manager (GM) and Assistant General Manager (AGM) by helping to coach the team, maintain operational excellence, and drive a fun, positive work environment.
What You'll Do:
Lead restaurant operations during assigned shifts Ensure all guests receive outstanding service and quality food Supervise and support front-of-house and back-of-house team members Execute daily opening and closing procedures Monitor shift performance and coach team members in real-time Handle guest concerns quickly and professionally Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are maintained Assist with team member training and development Maintain proper cash handling and inventory controls during your shift Foster a fun, energetic, and productive work environment Step up to support AGM and GM as needed
What We're Looking For:
1+ years of restaurant, hospitality, or retail leadership experience preferred Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills Passion for guest service and a positive team culture Ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure Willingness to learn and grow into higher leadership roles Must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays Must be at least 18 years old
