Role:
Join Kiddie Academy of Monroe as a Kitchen Manager / Floater, where you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. This exciting position allows you to combine your culinary skills with a passion for early childhood education, ensuring our students receive nutritious meals and snacks.
Responsibilities:
Prepare meals and snacks for children in accordance with dietary guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards. Assist in classroom activities as a floater, supporting teachers and engaging with children. Manage inventory and order supplies to ensure kitchen operations run smoothly. Promoting teamwork and efficiency. Conduct regular kitchen inspections to maintain compliance with health regulations. Other cleaning duties as needed for childcare Miscellaneous childcare duties as needed
Requirements:
Proven experience in a kitchen management role, preferably in a childcare or educational setting. Food Handler's Certification or equivalent food safety training (needed but not mandatory) We will pay for this training for you if you don't have one. Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle a dynamic work environment. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children and staff. Passion for nutrition and early childhood development. Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings and afternoons. Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset. Background check clearance as required by state regulations.
