ABOUT THE UPPER COURT
The Upper Court is a premium bar, restaurant and social destination located inside one of New Jersey's premier indoor sports and entertainment facilities. We serve craft cocktails, beer, wine, Mediterranean and American cuisine while hosting corporate events, private parties, live sports and special events.
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to oversee all restaurant and bar operations. The successful candidate will lead the front-of-house team, deliver exceptional guest experiences, maximize profitability and work closely with the General Manager and Event Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage daily restaurant and bar operations Recruit, train and supervise FOH staff Maintain exceptional customer service standards Oversee scheduling and labor costs Manage inventory, purchasing and vendor relationships Ensure food safety and liquor compliance Work with the kitchen to deliver high-quality service Support corporate events, parties and private functions Increase beverage and food sales through promotions Monitor budgets, costs and profitability Maintain cleanliness and operating standards Resolve guest concerns professionally
IDEAL CANDIDATE
3+ years of restaurant or bar management experience Experience managing high-volume food & beverage operations Strong leadership and communication skills Knowledge of POS systems and inventory controls Passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction Flexible to work evenings, weekends and events
