✨ Assistant Bakery Manager Nothing Bundt Cakes - Paramus, NJ About the Role We're looking for a hands-on, people-first leader to help run day-to-day operations and support our team in delivering an exceptional guest experience. This role works closely with the Bakery Manager to keep the bakery running smoothly — from managing the team and maintaining product quality to ensuring every guest interaction reflects our brand. If you lead by example, stay organized under pressure, and enjoy being part of a fast-paced, positive environment, this is a great opportunity to grow into a larger leadership role. What You'll Be Responsible For Daily Operations & Product Quality Support daily bakery operations including cake production, presentation, and overall cleanliness Ensure all products meet Nothing Bundt Cakes quality standards Maintain food safety and sanitation practices at all times Team Leadership & Development Help train, coach, and support team members across all roles Assist with scheduling, shift leadership, and task delegation Foster a positive, team-oriented environment that reflects our core values Guest Experience Lead by example in delivering a warm, welcoming, and consistent guest experience Handle guest concerns and ensure issues are resolved quickly and professionally Inventory & Operational Support Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and minimize waste Assist with operational tasks including reporting, cash handling, and opening/closing procedures Support execution of bakery systems, processes, and standards Sales & Community Support Assist with fulfilling large orders and catering needs Support local events, promotions, and community initiatives when needed What We're Looking For Strong leadership presence with a positive, team-first attitude Organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Comfortable leading shifts and holding team members accountable Strong communication and problem-solving skills Hands-on and willing to jump in wherever needed Experience That Helps (But Not Required) Previous experience in food service, bakery, or retail environment Supervisory or shift lead experience Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling Experience with inventory, scheduling, or team training Schedule & Availability Part-time role (25-30 hours/week) Opportunity to grow into full-time (30-35 hours/week) Flexible availability required based on business needs Must be available for early mornings, evenings, and weekends Weekend availability (Friday-Sunday) required on a rotating basis Increased availability required leading up to major holidays Compensation & Growth Competitive hourly pay Opportunities for bonuses based on performance Clear path for growth and advancement within the bakery Why Join Us Positive, team-focused work environment Opportunity to grow into a leadership role Be part of a brand that brings joy to guests and the community every day About Us At Nothing Bundt Cakes, we believe in bringing joy to every celebration.
