In this role, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, maintain high standards of food quality and safety, and foster a welcoming environment for guests. Your leadership will drive the success of the café by implementing efficient processes, controlling inventory, and ensuring smooth service during all shifts. Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily café operations, ensuring efficient workflow and excellent customer service. Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to build a motivated and skilled team. Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards and customer expectations. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and order processing. Control inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and coordinate with suppliers to minimize waste. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and health codes. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster a positive dining atmosphere. Manage shift transitions, oversee kitchen management, and supervise food production processes. Implement budgeting practices to optimize costs while maintaining high-quality service. Conduct staff interviews, training sessions, and performance evaluations to support continuous improvement. Experience Proven management experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a focus on food handling and customer service. Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within casual dining or fine dining settings. Demonstrated supervisory experience in hospitality or restaurant management roles with team leadership responsibilities. Familiarity with Toast POS systems Strong knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control practices, and food industry regulations. Experience in catering, banquet services, or hotel food service is a plus. Prior experience in training & development of staff members to ensure high performance standards.
