We're looking for a skilled and creative Chef / Kitchen Manager to lead day-to-day culinary operations at our Riverton production kitchen and provide guidance to our Moorestown takeout location. This is a part-time role at 35 +hours per week — perfect for a culinary professional who wants meaningful work, creative ownership, and a healthy work-life balance. No formal benefits package, but you'll enjoy paid time off and a supportive, close-knit team environment. What You'll Do Plan, prep, and execute menus for catering events and daily takeout offerings at our Moorestown location. Bring creativity to seasonal specials, new menu items, and client-specific requests Manage kitchen workflow and keep production running smoothly and on schedule . Oversee ordering, inventory, and supplier relationships to keep costs in check Maintain a clean, safe kitchen that meets all NJ health and food safety standards Train and direct kitchen support staff at both Riverton and Moorestown locations Coordinate with Cathy on upcoming events, client needs, and menu planning Stay calm, focused, and solutions-oriented when the pace picks up What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience in a professional kitchen — catering experience is a big plus A creative cook who loves developing dishes and trying new ideas Comfortable working at a fast pace in a high-pressure, high-energy environment Dependable, organized, and able to manage both the cooking and the logistics ServSafe certified (or willing to obtain certification) A team player who can also work independently when needed Flexible availability including some evenings and weekends for events
