ROLE OVERVIEW
The Training Manager plays a critical leadership role at our NRG locations, overseeing the success of all staff members. This Training Manager position requires an individual who is highly organized, adept at multitasking, and capable of coaching team members effectively in real-time. The ideal Training Manager will have a strong track record of fostering a culture of exceptional hospitality and will be responsible for ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. Availability to work evenings and weekends is essential. Duties and Responsibilities Ensure all team members are properly trained on safety protocols and park procedures. Lead the training and onboarding of party hosts, shareholders, and guest-facing team members. Develop and maintain training materials, SOPs, and service standards. Coach team members in real-time to ensure consistency in guest interaction, safety, service standards. Conduct ongoing training sessions and refreshers to improve performance and engagement. Track employee performance and report key metrics to leadership. Partner with leadership to identify talent, support employee development, and improve employee retention. Partner cross-functionally with operations, front desk, and kitchen teams to ensure consistency. Monitor guest feedback to resolve concerns promptly and professionally. Support daily operations as needed, especially during peak hours. Additional responsibilities as assigned. Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8-10 hours per shift). Ability to lift and carry up to 25-50 pounds. Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive movements in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work in varying conditions, including heat, cold, and noise. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Essential Functions 3+ years of experience in hospitality, training, or guest services. 2+ years of supervisory experience. 2+ years of experience working in a Family Entertainment Center (FEC) environment is preferred. Must be able to travel to NRG Adventure Park locations nationwide as needed. Hold a valid State-Mandated Food Handlers Certification, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards (where applicable). Strong knowledge of safety standards. Proficient in POS systems, scheduling software, purchasing platforms, streamlining daily operations. Demonstrate clear, high-level communication skills to effectively lead teams and enhance guest satisfaction. Solid experience with P&L management, understanding the relationship between sales, labor, and operational costs. Strong communication and a passion for delivering world-class training at every touchpoint.
