We at Trail Rider are looking to grow our Front of House team by training someone to help take a management role and help us oversee operations as we come into our busiest year ever! Once thoroughly trained this is intended to become a salaried position. We have an amazing crew that cant wait to meet the right person! Please only apply to this position if you have previous FOH leadership experience. This is not an entry level position. Overview We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Front of House Manager to lead our hospitality team and ensure an exceptional guest experience. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food service, customer satisfaction, and restaurant management. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong leadership skills, and possess a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality. Responsibilities Lead and supervise front-of-house staff, including training, development, and performance management to ensure excellent service delivery. Oversee daily restaurant operations, including shift management, customer service, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and waitlist procedures to optimize guest flow and satisfaction. Handle cash transactions accurately using Toast POS system. oversee cash handling procedures. Maintain inventory control for front-of-house supplies and coordinate with kitchen management for smooth food production flow. Ensure compliance with health regulations, food handling protocols, and safety standards across all front-of-house activities. Support team in food preparation, serving, and bar operations as needed to deliver a seamless dining experience. Conduct staff interviews, onboarding, and ongoing training to foster a motivated and skilled team. Assist in budgeting, cost control measures, and overall restaurant management to meet operational goals. Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Experience Proven management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment with a focus on front-of-house operations. Extensive background in hospitality management with strong supervisory skills; experience supervising teams in casual dining or fine dining settings preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety standards, and food industry best practices. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS, cash handling expertise required. Experience in inventory control, food production, catering services, and banquet operations is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to lead training & development initiatives within a hospitality or restaurant setting. Previous experience managing budgets, conducting interviews, and overseeing shift operations is essential. Strong leadership qualities with excellent customer service skills; ability to motivate staff and resolve guest concerns effectively.
