The Food & Beverage Manager will be overall responsible for the presentation of all kitchen and staffing management. POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the overall management, operation, and quality of Food and Beverage department. The Food & Beverage Manager is to maintain our mission, ensure and promote the highest level of customer service skills at all times as you are a representative of Sunray Park. Sunray Park allows its patrons to use Tobacco products on the premises so it is our responsibility to uphold these customer service standards while working in this type of environment. It is our vision to be the top entertainment facility in the four corners with legendary customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
 Ensure the food and beverage department maintains the highest possible level of customer service  Develop initiatives to build sales and customer headcounts  Identify and correct service or product problems to minimize the impact on the customers experience  Maintain department compliance with federal and state law including alcohol service, food safety and sanitation standards  Oversee correct receipt, storage and handling of food products to ensure quality and freshness  Develop and refine the menu offerings to maximize customer loyalty and property financial performance  Maintain optimal food cost ratios through portion, purchasing, inventory, and waste controls  Analyze and track department key financial/operational results  Monitor and adjust food and beverage specials and promotions  Assist in the marketing of the department  Ensure all equipment is maintained and operated to a safe standard
General Duties and Responsibilities:
 Overall responsibility for personnel management including interviewing, selecting, hiring, training, evaluating, promoting, disciplining, and terminating employees. This must be ongoing and performed in a timely manner  Evaluate performance of supervisors. Assist supervisors in evaluating employees and consistently assure that both positive and constructive feedback is provided and documented  Responsible for developing existing personnel

 Delegate authority and assign responsibilities  Develop and administer the approved annual operating and capital budgets for areas of responsibility  Review department financial data and take appropriate actions as required  Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers  Develop current and long term goals and objectives for the department  Cooperate and maintain effective communication with other managers, staff, employees and customers  Protect the assets of the company  Comply to Sunray Park and Casino's Employee Policy Handbook  All other duties as assigned
Standard Qualifications:
 Excellent customer service skills  Ability to adapt to equipment and technology  Must be Proficient in Microsoft office programs and or be willing to learn  Strong communication & Intrapersonal skills  Deliver complex information to diverse audiences  Ability to meet deadlines  Follow directions and analyze problems efficiently  Strong Leadership skills  Ability to lift heavy items over 25-50 pounds which varies per position  The desire to be a team player  Must be able willing and available to work any and all shifts  May be required to stand for long periods of time  Obtain Required Licenses by deadline including annual renewals  Abide by company Policies & Procedures Required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations  Alcohol Servers Permit Required  NM Food Handlers Permit required
