Job Description

Assistant General Manager | Santa Fe, NM | $22.50-$27.00/hour Lead with purpose, inspire your team, and help drive the success of a thriving bakery-cafe. We're looking for a hands-on, people-focused Assistant General Manager who is passionate about hospitality, team development, and operational excellence. Why You'll Love It Here Competitive salary + quarterly bonus opportunities Free meals during shifts Paid vacation, holidays, and sick time Medical, dental, vision, life, and pet insurance options 401(k) with company match Leadership development and career advancement opportunities Tuition discounts Team member rewards and assistance programs What You'll Do Partner with the General Manager to oversee daily bakery-cafe operations Deliver exceptional guest experiences through outstanding food, service, and hospitality Lead, coach, and develop managers and team members to achieve operational and service goals Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training new associates Manage staffing, scheduling, labor, and team performance Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company operating standards Support inventory management, cost controls, and profitability initiatives Foster a culture of warmth, belonging, growth, trust, and accountability Help drive sales growth while maintaining high operational standards Recognize and celebrate team successes and accomplishments What We're Looking For Must be at least 18 years old 2+ years of restaurant management experience preferred Proven ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop teams in a fast-paced environment Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Demonstrated ability to run successful shifts and drive results Experience with staffing, scheduling, labor management, and team development ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain) Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
