Full Job Description Description:
Maintain plans and goals of department as developed by management. Prepare and produce Banquet Event Order, Oversee event planning including room blocks, VIPs, Transportation, Special requests by Group and coordination of any additional outside vendors. Overall knowledge of room capabilities as they relate to capacities for conference facility. Attend daily Catering meetings with all Banquet departments and A/V Department to discuss upcoming events. Ability to create detailed menus that pertain to the specifics of a themed event. Supervise the proper execution of events by coordinating and managing the efforts of the Banquet Manager and support staff. Open communication with all departments in the planning of special events. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of Catering / Convention / Conference Group Management. Ability to define problems, collect data, facts and prepare valid solutions. Must be well organized and detail oriented. Excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management.
