Villa's Tacos is looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager who brings authentic hospitality and a high-energy culture to lead our team. This is more than a restaurant assistant management role; it's an opportunity to lead a talented team, drive operational excellence, and help create exceptional experiences for both guests and employees. About the Role As Assistant General Manager, you'll work alongside the General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, develop team members, drive exceptional guest experiences, and ensure operational excellence. You'll serve as a hands-on leader who leads by example, supports business performance, and helps create a culture built on accountability, hospitality, and teamwork. What You'll Do Lead daily shifts and support all restaurant operations Coach, develop, and motivate team members to deliver exceptional service Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and employee training Ensure food quality, cleanliness, safety, and hospitality standards are consistently met Assist with scheduling, labor deployment, inventory management, and cost controls Resolve guest concerns and deliver outstanding service recovery Partner with casino departments and property leadership to support special events and promotions Support operational initiatives designed to improve performance, efficiency, and guest satisfaction Serve as the acting leader in the General Manager's absence What We're Looking For Minimum 3 years of restaurant management experience Previous experience as an Assistant Manager, Restaurant Manager, Shift Manager, or similar leadership role Experience in high-volume restaurants, hospitality, casino, resort, or entertainment venues preferred Strong leadership, coaching, and team-development skills Knowledge of labor management, inventory control, food safety, and restaurant operations Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities ServSafe Alcohol Certified Preferred ServSafe Food Protection Manager Preferred Bilingual Preferred Why Join Villa's Tacos?
