In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient food production, and a welcoming atmosphere. Your leadership will drive team performance, uphold food safety standards, and manage daily operations to deliver a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, possesses strong management skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where excellence is the standard. Duties Lead and motivate the restaurant team to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation. Oversee daily restaurant operations, including shift management, staff scheduling, and ensuring smooth workflow across all departments. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability. Supervise food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations and quality standards. Handle POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Conduct staff training sessions focused on food handling, customer service excellence, and operational procedures. Implement and monitor health and safety protocols to guarantee compliance with local regulations and promote a safe working environment. Assist in budgeting, cost control measures, and financial reporting to support business growth. Interview potential candidates for various roles within the restaurant to build a skilled and motivated team. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Experience Proven management experience in quick service or fast food restaurants with a strong background in food service management. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen management. Demonstrated supervisory experience with staff training & development initiatives. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing and reporting. Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and cost management within the food industry. Background in hospitality management with exposure to casual dining or fine dining environments preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and handle high-pressure situations effectively. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and health regulations applicable to restaurant operations. Previous experience managing catering or banquet services is a plus but not required.
