In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant management, ensuring exceptional customer service, operational excellence, and team leadership. As a key leader, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards in food quality, safety, and profitability while fostering a vibrant and welcoming environment for both staff and guests. Responsibilities Lead daily restaurant operations, including managing staff schedules, shift management, and ensuring smooth service flow. Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food safety management to uphold quality standards. Supervise inventory control, food handling, and food production to minimize waste and maximize efficiency. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and sales reporting. Train, develop, and mentor staff to deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining a motivated team environment. Conduct hiring interviews and participate in staff training & development programs to build a high-performing team. Analyze profit and loss statements to identify areas for improvement in budgeting, cost control, and overall restaurant profitability. Ensure compliance with health regulations, food safety standards, and hospitality industry best practices. Foster a culture of hospitality excellence by delivering memorable guest experiences across casual dining, fine dining, catering, or banquet settings. Skills Extensive experience in restaurant management with a strong background in food service management and kitchen operations. Proven supervisory experience with team leadership skills that inspire motivation and accountability. Deep knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary processes, and food safety protocols. Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; excellent cash handling skills. Strong understanding of inventory control, food handling procedures, and cost management strategies. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally. Experience managing hospitality teams in various settings such as casual dining or hotel restaurants; banquet or catering experience is a plus. Ability to analyze financial data for profit & loss analysis and implement effective budgeting strategies. Skilled in staff training & development, interviewing candidates, and managing hospitality teams effectively. Leadership qualities that promote teamwork, positive morale, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
