Restaurant Assistant Manager Salary:

$18-23 / hour depending on experience level, room for growth

Schedule:

Full-Time (40 hours per week) / Year-Round Position. Holidays, mornings, days, nights, and weekends

Role:

Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the General Manager by overseeing daily operations, opening and/or closing the restaurant is done properly, managing staff, interacting with customers to ensure they have the best experience possible, exploring in the kitchen, and maintaining food safety standards. A responsible and trustworthy individual that works well in a leadership role.

Responsibilities:

Opening/closing the restaurant, managing daily shifts, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations. Hiring, training, mentoring, and scheduling staff (servers, hosts, dock hands, bartenders). Resolving customer complaints, ensuring a positive dining experience, and building customer loyalty. Address performance issues quickly and respectfully by coaching, counseling, and managing conflicts Monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, managing inventory, and assisting with payroll or financial reports. Implementing cost-cutting measures and supporting marketing effort Organize vendor's invoices Performing End of Day duties, filling out paperwork for all tipped employees, and nightly cash drop reports. Ensure money is managed correctly.

Skills:

Strong leadership, communication, time management, and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with food safety regulations and POS systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel Deliver exceptional and memorable customer experiences Must be physically able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods. This position is one that comes with great responsibility, but great reward, too. You will enjoy working right on the beautiful Lake George with a staff that feels like family.
