Avg $300/show (hourly + gratuities)

Schedule:

Event days only (~31 shows, evenings) We're a food concessions operation at one of NYC's premier outdoor music venues serving concert crowds of 8,000-14,000 guests per show. We're seeking an experienced, self-directed line cook for the full 2026 season.

CORE REQUIREMENTS

✓ Commercial flattop and deep fryer experience — mandatory ✓ Propane equipment operation and troubleshooting ✓ Ability to light a pilot on propane-fired equipment ✓ Strong DOH food safety knowledge — holding temps, safe storage, TILT protocols ✓ Opening and closing duties — hard venue curfew 10pm ✓ Self-directed and composed under high-volume pressure ✓ Professional conduct and reliable availability ✓ 1099 independent contractor — W-9 required prior to first event

NICE TO HAVE

→ Valid NYC Food Protection Certificate → Outdoor or event concessions experience
