$70,000-$75,000 annually About the Opportunity We're partnering with an exciting new food and beverage concept preparing for growth in New York City. More than just a frozen yogurt shop, this brand is focused on creating a memorable customer experience, building a strong community presence, and scaling thoughtfully for the future. We're looking for a hands-on General Manager who enjoys leading teams, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and helping build something from the ground up. If you're equally comfortable coaching employees, solving operational challenges, and jumping behind the counter during a busy rush, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll DoLead Daily Operations Oversee all day-to-day store operations and ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment Ensure product quality, food safety, and operational standards are consistently maintained Manage inventory levels, ordering, and vendor relationships Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed Support opening, closing, and peak-period operations Build and Develop the Team Recruit, onboard, train, and coach team members Create employee schedules that balance business needs and labor goals Foster a positive, respectful, and high-accountability workplace culture Provide ongoing feedback, performance coaching, and recognition Support employee engagement, retention, and professional development Deliver an Outstanding Guest Experience Lead by example in providing friendly and efficient customer service Ensure consistency in product presentation, cleanliness, and hospitality standards Address customer concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly Help create a neighborhood destination that guests want to return to again and again Drive Business Performance Monitor sales, labor, and operating expenses Review key performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement Assist with local marketing initiatives, community partnerships, and promotional events Support business growth by identifying operational efficiencies and revenue opportunities Maintain Compliance & Safety Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local health, safety, wage-and-hour, and employment regulations Maintain food safety procedures, sanitation standards, and required documentation Promote a safe working environment for employees and guests What We're Looking For 2+ years of leadership experience in food service, hospitality, café, restaurant, quick-service restaurant (QSR), or retail environments Experience managing schedules, inventory, labor, and daily operations Strong communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills Comfortable using POS systems and reviewing business performance metrics Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment NYC Food Protection Certificate, or willingness to obtain one within 30 days of hire Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require Why Join?
