Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to join our vibrant restaurant team! In this pivotal role, you will lead daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and foster a positive environment for staff and guests alike. Responsibilities Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth shift management and high-quality service delivery Supervise and train staff on food preparation, customer service, POS systems , and food safety protocols Manage inventory control, including food handling, food production, and stock replenishment to minimize waste and optimize costs Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling procedures and end-of-shift reconciliation Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness standards in kitchen and dining areas Support hiring processes by interviewing candidates and participating in staff training & development initiatives Assist in budgeting, cost control, and implementing operational improvements to enhance overall restaurant performance Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant management within quick service & fast food or casual dining environments Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety standards Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential Demonstrated supervising experience with team management, staff training & development, and shift supervision Knowledge of inventory control, food safety regulations, hospitality management, and kitchen operations Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting; leadership qualities are essential Previous experience in fine dining or hotel environments is a plus; culinary experience or catering background is advantageous Join us to lead a passionate team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences!
