Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure a wonderful work environment for our work family. Collaborates with Café Managers and staff to ensure exceptional restaurant operations, providing leadership and support to maintain high standards of customer service. Provides guidance to Café Managers in developing business plans to drive restaurant profitability. Monitors and evaluates financial performance, ensuring adherence to sales growth, food pricing, and labor cost guidelines. Facilitates ongoing training for managers and staff, covering operational procedures and personal development. Coaches store managers on progressive discipline, termination procedures, and employee development opportunities through one-on-one and group training sessions. Ensures compliance with cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and staffing standards. Proactively addresses performance issues and actively recruits restaurant staff and management as needed. Performs any additional duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.
Qualification/ Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years of managerial experience in the restaurant or fast-casual field required. Previous Assistant Manager, Restaurant Manager, or Supervisory experience mandatory. Metrics based mindset- costs, %'s, trends, etc. Experience recruiting, hiring, training, and developing employees. Experience in growing sales and providing excellent customer service. Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence in both front of the house and back of the house. Must have a proven track record of managing cost of goods and labor. Strong skills in understanding P&L reports and budgets. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Servsafe® Certification preferred. Experience in the quick-service restaurant industry required; previous regional manager, supervisor, area manager, or comparable role required
