Restaurant Manager Melville Marriott Long Island - 4.0 Melville, NY Job Details Part-time | Full-time $19 - $24 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Employee discount Qualifications Hospitality Customer communication Customer service Supervising experience Team management Leadership Full Job Description Melville Marriott Long Island, a full-service 371-room Marriott hotel with over 21,000 square feet of meeting room space, restaurant and bar, is presently seeking experienced and energetic individuals to fill the following Supervisory position: Restaurant Manager Candidate should possess a minimum of 2-years Supervisory experience in fast-paced, high-volume food and beverage environments (hotel preferred but not required) with an emphasis on guest satisfaction. Candidate responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Participating in the recruitment, selection, and training of staff Supervision and assisting in scheduling food and beverage staff Ensure customer satisfaction Resolve customer complaints, as well as internal conflict amongst staff Assist in ordering and maintaining inventory control costs Conducting shift meetings Attending staff meetings in F&B Director's absence Learning, implementing, adhering to all Marriott and Franchise Owner standards of operations as well as Dept of Health protocols. Maintaining a high level of cleanliness in all areas.
Candidate qualities should include:
Hands on attitude Excellent customer service and communication skills Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills Proven management skills such as training and motivation Organizational skills and Multi-Tasking abilities Knowledge of the products, services, sector, industry and local area Flexible working hours, weekends & holidays Various benefits available with full-time status.
