Shift Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, and maintaining efficient kitchen operations. This role requires strong leadership skills and a passion for food service management. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily activities of kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations. Train, mentor, and develop team members in areas such as food preparation, customer service, and cash handling. Manage inventory levels and assist with budgeting to optimize food cost control. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels. Utilize Aloha POS system for order processing, cash handling, and reporting. Assist in bartending duties as needed during peak hours to support the team. Requirements Proven experience in food service management or a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations gracefully. Experience with staff training and development is preferred. Familiarity with budgeting processes and inventory management. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required. Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
