Shift Information:
Ability to work a flexible schedule (including evenings, holidays and weekends) Some Job Duties and Responsibilities will include: Coordinate communication between front of the house and back of the house staff Oversee service for both Ellen's Stardust Diner & The Iridium Supervise wait staff and provide assistance, as needed Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations Gather guests' feedback and recommend improvements to service
Qualifications:
Experience in the hospitality industry required Supervisory experience preferred Familiarity with restaurant management software Extensive service experience Customer service attitude Communication and team management abilities Availability to work a flexible schedule within operating hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends) Ability to work evening/closing shift is a must
The Company:
Ellen's Stardust Diner is a retro 1950s theme restaurant located at 1650 Broadway on the southeast corner of 51st Street in Theater District, Manhattan, New York City. The diner is regarded as one of the best theme restaurants in New York. The diner also contains retro-themed memorabilia such as photos of many past Miss Subways on the walls, an indoor train, a 1956 Predicta television, and a "drive-in theater" screen that showcases performances from the 1950s. It is popular among children and adults.
