Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Chef and Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team with passion, precision, and innovation. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, safety standards, and efficient service. Your leadership will inspire a cohesive team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. Duties Lead and supervise all kitchen staff, fostering a positive, motivated work environment that encourages teamwork and excellence in food preparation and service Oversee menu planning, ensuring a diverse selection that highlights culinary creativity while meeting dietary and nutritional standards Manage food production processes, maintaining high standards of quality, presentation, and consistency across all dishes Implement and uphold food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and health regulations to ensure a safe dining environment Control inventory levels through meticulous inventory management and inventory control practices to minimize waste and optimize costs Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with attention to detail in food handling, serving logistics, and timely delivery Supervise shift management activities including scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and ensuring smooth operational flow during service hours Oversee kitchen equipment maintenance and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed by all team members Qualifications Proven experience in fine dining kitchens with strong culinary skills and leadership capabilities Extensive banquet experience coupled with supervising experience in high-volume settings Background in dietary department management or specialized food production environments is highly desirable Demonstrated expertise in food service management, catering coordination, and restaurant operations Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, food safety standards (such as HACCP), and kitchen safety protocols Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative work culture Proficiency in menu planning, food preparation techniques, and overall kitchen management practices Experience with shift management, food industry regulations, and hospitality standards is essential Join us as our Head Chef and Kitchen Manager to lead a passionate culinary team dedicated to excellence!
