Job Description

Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Front of House Manager to lead our hospitality team and ensure an exceptional guest experience. This important role involves overseeing daily restaurant operations, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food safety and customer service, and creating a welcoming environment for all patrons. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of food service management to drive our team toward excellence. Responsibilities Lead and supervise front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, bartenders, and support team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth shift transitions, efficient service, and adherence to quality standards. Manage customer interactions with professionalism and enthusiasm, resolving issues promptly to guarantee satisfaction. Coordinate staff scheduling, training, and development to optimize team performance and ensure consistent service delivery. Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies as needed, and minimizing waste. Handle cash transactions accurately using square POS systems and oversee cash handling procedures. Enforce food safety regulations and sanitation standards to uphold compliance with health codes. Assist in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting to support operational efficiency. Support kitchen management by collaborating with culinary teams on food presentation standards and timing. Participate in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training of new team members to build a skilled workforce. Qualifications Proven experience in food service management or hospitality management roles within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments. Demonstrated supervising experience with strong leadership skills; capable of motivating teams and managing diverse personalities. Familiarity with the Square POS systems; proficient in cash handling and transaction processing. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety standards, and inventory control practices. Experience working in fine dining or hotel settings is a plus; familiarity with catering or banquet operations is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage shift schedules and oversee multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Culinary experience or background in food production enhances understanding of kitchen operations. Ability to train staff effectively on food handling procedures, safety protocols, and service excellence.
