Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager to lead our bustling restaurant operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant management, ensuring exceptional customer service, operational excellence, and team engagement. Your leadership will drive the restaurant's success by maintaining high standards in food quality, safety, and hospitality. Duties Lead daily restaurant operations, including managing staff schedules, shift management, and ensuring smooth service flow. Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food safety standards to deliver high-quality culinary experiences. Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and monitoring stock levels to minimize waste and control costs. Supervise staff training and development programs to enhance team performance in food handling, customer service, and operational procedures. Utilize POS systems for accurate cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting. Ensure compliance with health regulations, food safety protocols, and sanitation standards across all areas of the restaurant. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain excellent guest satisfaction. Implement marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase patronage and revenue. Conduct regular performance evaluations and interviewing processes for hiring new team members. Collaborate with kitchen management to optimize food production processes and menu offerings. Develop budgets, monitor financial performance, and identify opportunities for operational improvements. Experience Proven management experience within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments with a focus on food service management. Extensive background in supervising teams in hospitality or restaurant settings with strong leadership skills. Hands-on experience with POS systems for sales processing and reporting. Demonstrated ability in inventory control, budgeting, and cost management within the food industry. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary practices, and kitchen management including food safety standards. Prior experience in fine dining or hotel restaurants is highly desirable; banquet or catering experience is a plus. Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills; ability to handle challenging situations professionally. Experience in staff training & development, interviewing potential team members, and managing shift operations effectively.
